Common Questions

Who takes care of my baby?

A neonatologist and NICU delivery team is present at the deliveries of infants with a prenatal diagnosis of congenital heart defect.  The infants are stabilized and admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  If the baby is a candidate for surgery, the cardiologists and cardiac surgeons will determine the appropriate timing for the infant to transfer to the Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit.
